Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast and presenting sponsor Elizabeth Moore are delighted to host award-winning author and illustrator Rachel Ignotofsky and her best-selling book The Wondrous Workings of Planet Earth on September 24th at 11:30 AM. This annual luncheon and nature lecture will be held at Michael's On East. Rachel is a Los Angeles-based illustrator who believes that illustration is a powerful tool that can make learning exciting. She has a passion for taking dense information and making it fun and accessible. She hopes to use her work to spread her message about scientific literacy and feminism. Rachel is the author and illustrator of four books including The Wondrous Workings of Planet Earth: Understanding Our World and Its Ecosystems.
