About This Event
When most home cooks think of Jewish food, a few classics come to mind: matzo ball soup, brisket, challah and maybe a babka if you’re feeling ambitious. But as food writer and self-described nice Jewish boy Jake Cohen demonstrates in his stunning debut cookbook, \"Jew-ish,\" Jewish food is so much more. \
\
The event takes place from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El (151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota) and on Zoom. Be there when Sarasota Chef Judi Gallagher not only gets the dish on Jake, but the dish on his dishes. In-person attendees will indulge in a treat from a recipe in the book (depending on health and safety regulations). Books will be available for purchase and signing at the venue. In-person tickets are $25 per person ($30 at the door); $10 per household on Zoom. To register or to purchase a sponsorship package or Page Turner Pass, please visit JFEDSRQ.org/Books. \
