Panel starts at 2:30 PM\ \ Following the final performance of Make Thee an Ark*, a site-specific performance at Selby Garden\'s Historic Spanish Point campus on Sunday, October 17th, is Ark Dialogues, a free public panel and discussion focused on the play’s use of Sarasota history, and how it combines lived Sarasota experiences with a fictional narrative about Florida’s possible futures.\ \ Moderated by Sabrina Cummings, Sarasota native and local archaeologist, the Ark Dialogues panel discusses how theatre can incorporate stories from histories that are at risk of being erased from climate change. The Ark Dialogues panel is funded through a Florida Humanities Community Projects Grant from the Florida Humanities Council.\ \ The panel includes:

, Dr. Uzi Baram, Professor of Archaeology and Heritage Studies at New College of Florida
, Michael Valdez, PhD Candidate in Theatre Historiography,
