Mayfaire by-the-Lake is a free, annual outdoor juried fine art festival held on the shores of Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida, on Mother\'s Day weekend. Organized by The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art, the event began in 1971 as a small craft fair and has grown into one of the largest and most prestigious art festivals in Central Florida, featuring over 150 artists\' booths, a children\'s art zone, food vendors, and performances.
