Becoming a Master Naturalist

About This Event

Jeanne Murphy of Sensing Nature will speak to the Tampa Bay Sea Kayakers about the UF/IFAS Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) in which she teaches. She will explain why the program is appropriate not only for skilled environmental professionals but also for novice nature enthusiasts who want to make a difference in Florida’s tomorrow. The 20-year-old FMNP consists of ten courses including the new Special Topic restoration series, and it has served as a model for other states throughout the nation.
