Local Walk-up Pop\'s Ice Cream House has opened its doors spreading cheer in the local community. Pop\'s Ice Cream House is celebrating its grand opening the week of September 24th thru October 3rd, almost exactly one-year to-the-date from when the building was moved to its current location.\

Stop in for free samples of soft-serve real ice cream, or free corn hole and ring toss games that are set up for the family to enjoy. They also have tables under the oaks so you can savor your ice cream treat in the shade. \
\"We hope to become a regular stop for the local community on their way home from work or on their way to shop at the Seven Hills Publix,\" manager Lisa Q. happily suggests.\

Pop\'s parking lot is actually the back of the Seven Hills Publix parking lot as it is a rear out-parcel of the store. \"We can be reached by turning into the Publix lot from Quality Drive, Mariner Blvd., or County Line Road,\" Lisa says. \
\"With St. Lukes Eye clinic across the street, several beautiful neighborhoods like Wellington down the road plus Bayfront Health Hospital, Suncoast Elementary school, and the Locomo roller rink surrounding us--we have hope we can beat the trend of businesses closing and become a local family tradition.\"\
Local friends have been stopping in to say, \"hi\" as construction and permitting has been going on over the last year. Everyone was asking, \"When are you opening?\" so I do think we have a strong community that will support us once they know we are open. \

Hours are seven days a week 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM. \
Pop\'s Ice Cream House offers all the usual treats. Vanilla, chocolate, or twist cake cones, sugar or waffle; cups, milkshakes, blended toppings into the ice cream called \"stiff shakes\", sundaes, banana splits, root beer floats, and they can even make a strawberry ice cream by blending strawberry topping into the vanilla.
